Senator Natasha Akpoti‑Uduaghan Rolls Out Digital Learning Initiative, 100+ Electric Vehicles Across Kogi Central

Senator Natasha H. Akpoti Uduaghan has rolled out electric vehicles across Kogi Central, alongside modern digital educational tools for schools, signaling a renewed focus on long-term development in the constituency.

In a post on her official Facebook page, the senator explained that the initiative is aimed at empowering constituents with technical skills and promoting sustainable development over short-term handouts.

“Our beneficiaries are not just empowered … they are well trained and fully equipped with the technical skills required for operation and maintenance of each vehicle,” she wrote.

The initiative, in collaboration with Electric Motor Vehicle Company, ensures that recipients can independently operate and maintain the vehicles, reinforcing a commitment to sustainable systems rather than temporary applause. Senator Akpoti‑Uduaghan also encouraged community patronage of the vehicles and acknowledged her local collaborators, including Prince Mustapha Audu, describing the project as “Proudly Kogi Central for Nigeria.”

Beyond transportation, the senator visited schools in Ajaokuta and Adavi Local Government Areas to distribute digital learning devices, part of her agenda to modernize education across Kogi Central. Beneficiary institutions include:

LGEA Primary School, Ganaja

LGEA Standard College, Ganaja (Ajaokuta)

Adavi Local Government Science Secondary School, Nagazi–Eba (Adavi LGA)

“Digital learning isn’t a luxury; it is a necessity,” she noted, stressing that investments in children are investments in the future of the state and the country. She pledged that the distribution would continue across remaining local governments, aiming to equip students with the tools needed to thrive in a fast-changing world.

Public responses to the senator’s initiatives have been overwhelmingly positive. Constituents praised her commitment to education and empowerment.

One commenter observed: “Finding a leader who gives such importance to the education sector is rare… she is shaping the future leaders of Nigeria.” Another expressed gratitude despite being unable to personally attend the previous empowerment exercise, recognizing Senator Akpoti‑Uduaghan as a “promise keeper” building a lasting legacy.

As Senator Akpoti‑Uduaghan looks ahead to a second term in 2027, her integrated approach to sustainable development and education reform positions her as a transformative force in Kogi Central politics, prioritizing impact, innovation, and long-term progress over mere perception.
